励志英语短文:保持动力Sustain Your Motivation

Here are three steps to use planning to sustain your motivation.
通过制定计划,并按下面三步实施这个计划,你便能够一直保持动力。
Simplify. In other words, break your task down into small and manageable steps. This way you’re not overwhelmed by what needs to be done, and you’ll be less likely to procrastinate.
简化。换言之,把你需要完成的目标分解成更易达成的几步。这样做,你将不会被这个未完成的任务击倒,发生拖延耽搁的可能性也会小了很多。
Plan your steps. Lay out the steps you need to take to accomplish your goal. Set up a plan for getting tasks done, and plan out as many steps in advance as you possibly can. Once you know what you need to do, do it, before moving on to the next step.
计划。安排那些为完成目标而需完成的步骤。为完成任务而制定一项计划,尽可能提前制定这个计划。一旦你知道了需要完成的事情,完成它,然后再开始进行下一步。
Create a list. Take the previously mentioned steps and put them in order according to your priorities. Arrange them so that you will get the most important tasks done in the most efficient manner. That is what a good “to-do” list does to help keep you motivated, and build momentum. Begin each day with your “to-do” list, and move through the day armed with a plan.
制作一个清单。完成上面两步后,依照事情的轻重缓急将它们排序。通过安排这些步骤,你能够用一种最有效率的方法完成这些最重要的任务。使你保有动力,这是一个优秀的“待完成”列表能够帮你做到的。让你的每一天始于“待完成”列表,然后度过有计划的一天。
As you strike the tasks you’ve finished off the list, you begin to gain momentum. The feeling that you’re making progress only motivates you to continue.
